Caring for a Sustainable Future

Cadbury Cocoa PartnershipCadbury Cocoa Partnership

Cadbury established the Cadbury Cocoa Partnership in 2008 to secure the economic, social and environmental sustainability of around a million cocoa farmers and their communities in Ghana, India, Indonesia and the Caribbean.

The Cadbury Cocoa Partnership marks the 100th anniversary since the Cadbury brothers first began trading in Ghana and the program aims to holistically support the development of sustainable cocoa growing communities and help cocoa farmers improve their livelihood.

This ground-breaking initiative is carried out in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and other partners on the ground who lend invaluable expertise that will help us realize our goal of making a difference.

Over ten years, more than $80 million CDN will be invested through the partnership, about $55 CDN million of which is allocated to Ghana, to improve farmer incomes, develop communities and build partnerships.
